The question really should be is “Is Yahoo a Good Fit for Katie?” --- AND, I am guessing that is the question Katie and Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, asked before making this decision. Two smart women consider their moves very carefully… It is not always about how much… At some point, a woman has to decide if the fit is perfect.
Smart: a familiar face puts aging demographic at ease when using the Internet for news programming, and, advertisers don’t miss this connection either.
Smart: Katie is no stranger to new media. She has been leading others in her field to using it… i.e. on-line interviews and incorporating social media into traditional newscasts.
